"Art on Paper" is an exhibition that highlights the uniqueness and potential of paper as an artistic medium. Throughout human history, paper has served as one of the most fundamental tools for artistic expression, with every mark left on its surface conveying sensory and immediate emotions. Art created on paper—including painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, collage, and photography—demonstrates the medium’s versatility and depth while embodying the creativity and experimental spirit of artists. This exhibition seeks to explore the artistic significance of paper and reexamine its limitless possibilities.

Pink Silo

In collaboration with the Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at UT Chattanooga and in honor of Women’s History Month during March of 2025, Wavelength Space is pleased to host Pink Silo - a juried exhibition that reclaims and elevates artistic materials, forms, and color palettes historically associated with femininity—categories often dismissed or undervalued in the fine art world. Inspired by the term pink-collar, which describes professions traditionally associated with women and often devalued in comparison to their white-collar counterparts, this exhibition challenges artistic hierarchies by highlighting fiber art, beadwork, pastels, glitter, and more. Pink Silo brings together both emerging and established voices to explore themes of domesticity, caregiving, and femininity through bold and unexpected lenses.
